Greetings from India Pulses and Grains Association!

‘The Pulses Conclave’ the biennial event hosted by IPGA is the most awaited and largest event in the pulses sector in the world. We have seen an overwhelming response over the last 5 editions of The Pulses Conclave. We have been delighted to witness participation of over 5000 delegates across the Trade and Industry at the Conclave from over 30 countries in the past editions.

Continuing the strong momentum, IPGA is proud to announce the Sixth edition of ‘The Pulses Conclave’ to be held in the vibrant city of Mumbai from the 16-18th February 2023 at Hotel Grand Hyatt.

‘Sustainability of Pulses Production’ has been included in the Vision 2047, a vision plan to make the India one of the world’s top three economies and bring it closer to developed nation status by the 100th year of its independence. We have been proactively engaged with the Government authorities to assist in evolving dynamic policy responses by providing market-related inputs and strategic advice with respect to domestic and global agribusiness. IPGA will also seek to monitor a liberal and stable foreign trade (import and export) in pulses and grains to be able to provide effective forward-looking guidance which will further help the Government in policy formulation. IPGA has been formulating and providing strategic inputs to the relevant Government authorities which are in alignment with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Doubling the Farmers’ Income and helping India achieve self-sufficiency in Pulses Production.

IPGA’s vision is to make the Indian pulses and grains industry & trade globally competitive; and in so doing, help advance India’s food and nutrition security. IPGA takes the onus of essaying a leadership role in the domestic agri-business and play a more proactive role in the global domain to foster healthy relations among Indian market participants and between India and all associates overseas.

At The Pulses Conclave 2020, while covering the supply and demand aspects of the trade, the sessions discussed a significant roadmap to help the Indian Pulses Trade become more robust through retail sale of pulses, processed pulses, pulse derivates and value additions, all of which will drive investments in the entire value chain.

Considering the major head waves made by the pulses sector in the last few years, it’s only befitting that The Pulses Conclave 2023 should be themed around ‘Creating Sustainable Businesses in the Global Pulses Sector’ which is the need of the hour. With the constant evolution of Technology, we at IPGA will focus on creating a sustainable environment for the Pulses and Agri Products sector through an emphasis on upcoming technologies and their application across the Agriculture Sector. We aim at promoting lucrative avenues for all participants of the Pulses Value Chain through synchronisation with the latest technologies in the agriculture sector. We are very keen to have participation from the start-ups and next-gen agripreneurs.

At the upcoming Conclave we are excited to showcase and emphasize on Development of world class processing facilities, Robust Supply Chain Management, Post-harvest Crop Management to mitigate losses amongst many other opportunities that the future promises in the Pulses Industry.  We have been a strong promoter of increased protein consumption through pulses to address issues such as protein deficiency and malnutrition and numerous other health benefits pulses have to offer. We believe that the Value-added products from Pulses have an exponential potential which can be harnessed in India and will go a long way in augmenting the farmers’ income. We believe innovation in value added products landscape through extraction of protein from pulses and fortifying other food products with the nutritional quotient of Pulses has a promising future.

As India is inching towards self-sufficiency in Pulses we need to focus on advocating a Free Trade Policy which will be in the best interests of all the participants of the Pulses ecosystem

IPGA has worked relentlessly in the best interest of the trade along with the government keeping in mind the welfare of farmers and consumers for over a decade now. As you are aware, IPGA has been partnering with and is at the centre of fostering relationships with various foreign associations in the best interests of the trade, consumers and farmers.

Given the overwhelming response in the past, I believe there will be large global turnout at the Conclave as we usher in the era post the pandemic. We are excited to welcome participants from across the globe and strengthen our engagement going forward.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Above cost exclude taxes. In the event of any change in Taxes by the Government of India, these rates will change accordingly from the date such changes are enforced by the Government of India.
2. All IPGA Patrons (whose patronship fees are fully paid till date) shall receive UNIQUE Code on their registered email id to register for the Conclave.
3. Indian Delegates who are not IPGA Patrons should use the link given below to register for the Conclave.
4. All Group Bookings (more than five delegate from the same organization) will be handled offline. Please connect with IPGA Team at thepulsesconclave@ipga.co.in to complete the process.
5. Person registered as SPOUSE will be entitled to attend the Welcome Dinner, Gala Dinner as well as lunch on Feb. 16 th and 18 th .
6. Person registered as SPOUSE shall not be entitled to attend Business Sessions.
7. All International Delegates shall pay in US Dollars. International Delegates will automatically get the applicable rates once they choose the “Country” field in the Registration Process.
8. All International Delegates MUST read the VISA APPLICATION PROCESS before proceeding to Register.

 EXHIBIT AT THE PULSES CONCLAVE 2023

As has been the case at every Pulses Conclave hosted by India Pulses and Grains Association, we will have around 25 exhibition stalls for companies to showcase their products and services to delegates. The stalls will be located in close proximity of the Conference venue to ensure high footfall in the exhibition area. We will be providing:

ENTITLEMENTS:

ADVERTISE IN THE PULSES CONCLAVE 2023 SOUVENIR

IPGA will publish a souvenir to mark the Conclave and this will be distributed to all delegates free of cost. The Souvenir will be placed in the Kitbag that will be handed over to each delegate when they complete the registration process at the venue.
The Souvenir will have a host of articles by Indian and International domain experts from the Pulses sector and will definitely be an issue that will be preserved by the delegates for a long time.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Stalls will be allotted on first come first serve basis and will be made at the sole discretion of the organizers. Stalls allotted will be used by the exhibitors solely for display of goods noted in their application or by subsequent counter approval by the organizers. Allotment of stalls is final only on receipt of full sponsorship/stall amount.
  2. Although total subletting of a stall to a third party is not permitted, the organizers on written permission may allow partial subletting to a sister concern, associate or agent. Such co exhibiting may entail additional payment as fixed by the central committee.
  3. Should any exhibitor decide to withdraw from participation in the exhibition, decision as to the refund depends entirely with the organizers and at their sole discretion (including the nature, amount and the timing of such refund, if at all).
  4. The exhibitors will carry out no activity, which in the opinion of the organizers amounts to nuisance or annoyance. The organizers shall have the right to take remedial action in such cases.
  5. No alteration to the size or position of the stall is permitted without prior written approval of the organizers, who reserve the right to change the layout/stall number or gangways. The organizers also reserve the right to require exhibitors to make such alterations to their stands and setting of their exhibits as necessary to maintain an acceptable standard of presentation and to avoid interference with the display of other exhibitors.
  6. No banners, placards, balloons, writings on any surfaces etc will be allowed on the premises or complex or on the roads in the vicinity of the venue other than the space allotted. Such unauthorized display is liable to be removed by the organizers without notice, at the cost of the exhibitor.
  7. Exhibits must not obstruct any passage at any time.
  8. No part of exhibit should be located outside the boundaries of the hired stall by placement, projection or suspensions.
  9. Exhibitors are prohibited to provide for their own sitting arrangement outside the boundaries of the stall.
  10. No exhibit should be displayed by suspending it from above in the existing infrastructure. The framing or the structure of the roof is not designed for this. Any such suspension required should have its own weight bearing structure, which together with the suspended article should be confined to the area of the hired stall boundaries.
  11. Holding of large organized gathering in front of ordinary stalls is prohibited.
  12. The exhibitor should not cause any damage to the site /building/stand. Any such damage will be made good at the expense of the exhibitor. The exhibitor will also indemnify the organizers against any claims resulting from mishaps due to faulty equipment/faulty handling of equipment or material or non-observance of legal or safety requirements.
  13. Driving of nails or screws in any part of the provided infrastructure or digging the ground is strictly prohibited.
  14. Use of loud speakers is prohibited without written permission of the organizers.
  15. Loading or unloading of equipment in the stall will cease from two hours before the start of the conference daily schedule to the end of the daily program every day or as approved by the venue authorities.
  16. In case of necessity to bring heavy moving vehicle close to the stand, prior written permission from the organizers is mandatory.
  17. The organizers will not be responsible for any theft, pilferage, loss or damage of any material, goods or properties belonging to the individuals or exhibitors at any time before, during or after the exhibition for any reason or cause whatsoever. The exhibitors should get insurance cover against all risks perceived by them for their products/ materials/exhibits at their own cost.
  18. If due of Force Majeure or other unavoidable circumstances, the organizers are forced to cancel, modify, shift, change or reschedule the conference, the sponsor will not be entitled to claim damages or compensation of any kind.
  19. The organizers may alter or add new rules and regulations for the benefit of the exhibition. Such rules will be given in writing and will be binding on all the exhibitors.
  20. Adjudication, in case of dispute, is subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction.
  21. A proposal for the kind of services to be offered by the exhibitor should be submitted to the organizer and any extra expenses incurred to allow exhibitor to carry out such services will be charged extra and will be payable in advance at the time of procuring such permission. Organizers reserve the right to deny such services without giving any reason whatsoever.
  22. Any additional promotional activity to be carried out from the stall area or elsewhere, other than conventional activities, needs the written consent of the organizers.
  23. No sale in cash or credit shall be allowed at the stands. The organizers shall in no way be responsible for any tax or legal liability incurred for any transaction undertaken by the exhibitor.
