Robust demand lifts chana futures by 0.75%

New Delhi, Dec 7 Chana prices moved up by 0.75 per cent to Rs 4,462 per quintal in futures trade today as participants built up fresh positions, driven by uptick in demand from dal mills at spot markets.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, chana for delivery in January was trading higher by Rs 33, or 0.75 per cent to Rs 4,462 per quintal with an open interest of 45,240 lots.
